How do the online consultations work?

Once you become a member, you can access our call booking system via our awesome CRM system powered by Zoho. To book a call, all you need to do is select a 15-minute time slot in one of our Consultants' calendars. They will call you at the appointment time.  From there they will give you some helpful Ad-Hoc advice in regards to the matter at hand. 

Please note: Member calls are governed by our Reasonable Usage Terms and are intended to answer ad-hoc HR questions and do not include reviewing documents, emails or providing written advice that requires time beyond the time of our HR Consultants on the phone. They are limited to a maximum of 15 minutes. If additional time is required, your HR Consultant will either provide a fixed-fee quote for this service or advice you that you need to purchase a block of Ad-Hoc hours. Can I do a FREE trial? Is there a lock in or can I cancel?

No we do not offer a free trial our membership speaks for itself as you can access our team of experts as many times as you want over the 12 months. As this an annual subscription you will have 7 days prior to the end of your membership to cancel otherwise it will renew automatically.

What are the reasonable usage terms?

The HR Gurus Membership Club is subject to our ‘Reasonable Usage Terms'. This means you must not use our services in a way that a reasonable person would consider to be unreasonable.

This includes but is not limited to the following:

- Requesting multiple phone calls on a single topic or quick questions as an attempt to avoid purchasing a block of hours.
- Requesting our Virtual HR Managers provide advice or answers to complicated HR questions without giving them all the information to fully consider the situation at hand.
- Asking our consultants to put advice in writing or respond to emails or read documents (This would require you to purchase a block of hours)
- Using the service in an inappropriate manner, or overusing the service
- Seeking legal advice that HR Gurus is not permitted to give

HR Gurus reserves the right to cancel the membership of parties who breach our Reasonable Usage Terms. If your membership is cancelled you will receive a full refund.

What areas of HR can I get advice on?

We can provide general advice on the following areas:

- General HR advice around any areas of HR that we typically service including employee relations and industrial relations matters, general questions about performance management issues, FWA questions, NES questions etc

- Some complicated HR questions will fall outside of the scope of your membership such as legal advice, advice on whether or not you should terminate someone's employment (this would require us to review their contract of employment and get all the facts and would be consider complex) if we identify that you need support to manage a termination process this will require you to purchase a block of hour. 

We do not provide advice in the following areas, payroll, OHS, legal, taxation, such as FBT, payroll tax etc, EAP services. If we can't help we will always try and refer you to one our trusted partners to assist you.
